SGS INTRODUCES MULTITRACE® ANALYSIS

SGS Environmental is pleased to introduce MultiTrace® to the Australian environmental market. MultiTrace® is a quick, multi-component analytical screening method that allows an extremely broad analysis of contaminants contained in soil and ground water samples. The 350 target compounds have been carefully selected and are continuously reviewed, updated and extended to address the present and expected future environmental legislation, locally and internationally.

Unlike traditional screening methods MultiTrace® analysis is performed by a wide range of highly sophisticated GCMS and LCMS instrumentation. MultiTrace® provides ultra low detection limits, high recoveries and the ability to search for new analytes of concern many years following the original analysis.

MultiTrace® is a powerful risk assessment tool not previously available to the environmental marketplace. It is ideally suited to sites where appropriate history is not available and can assist in avoiding future legal, financial and operational issues for government authorities, landowners, consultants, engineers, project developers and industry.

MultiTrace® is a unique application that allows a preliminary yet thorough screening investigation of the site. The MultiTrace® results are an objective and scientific base for further and more focused soil and groundwater investigations wherever MultiTrace® highlights problems with substances or concentrations of concern.

MultiTrace® answers your need for a multi-component screening application to help mitigate the risks inherent in the investigation phase of a project. You will immediately benefit from the added value of this new analytical service from SGS Environmental Services to help safeguard your business interests.
