Course Outline

This course combines the current MISC Coal Core Generic and the BMA Induction. The purpose of this course is to introduce the trainee to the legislation, accepted practices and safety procedures that are used both generically and on BMA specific mine sites in order to create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

• Combined course reduces training time from three to two days and is cost effective
• Course is nationally accredited
• Courses are held frequently at most SGS training locations
• Prerequisite qualification to work at most BMA mine sites

Applications

Graduates of this course will meet with industry requirements for both Generic and BMA Inductions.

Prerequisites

Course attendees must hold a current Queensland Coal Board Medical and successfully complete a drug and alcohol test prior to course commencement.
