Course Outline

In order to complete this course, participants are required to submit a Kestrel Contractor Request Form that is signed by an authorised Kestrel employee. The purpose of this course is to introduce the trainee to the accepted practices and safety procedures that are used at Kestrel Mine Site.

Outline:

• Combined course reduces training time from two days to one day and is cost effective.
• Courses are held frequently at most SGS training locations.
• Held every Monday at SGS Emerald.
• Valid for two years.

Applications

This course provides training specific to the Kestrel Mine Site for a basic level entry. Additional on-site training will be required.

Pre-requisite

The pre-requisites of this induction are as follows:

• Current Surface Generic.

• Current Underground Generic – only required if completing the Kestrel Underground Induction.
